On June 8th, the riding video of "Shizunami Surf Stadium" maintained in Shizunami, Makinohara City, Shizuoka Prefecture was released.
Shizunami surf stadium that has introduced the same American Wave Machines wave-making equipment as "BSR surf resort" in Waco, Texas, USA.
Initially, it was opened in the fall of 2020, but due to the global Korona-ka, the delivery of materials was delayed, but the pool part was almost completed this winter. As of May, all the buildings including the clubhouse were completed, but due to the immigration restrictions in Korona-ka, engineers in the United States could not enter Japan and the wave operation could not be adjusted, so the opening was opened. It was postponed.
Due to the strict immigration restrictions, we will operate the waves remotely from the control room of American Wave Machines in Solana Beach, California. With the cooperation of Volcom, a video of Yasushi Wakita and Sara brothers and sisters acting as test riders has been released.
The size has increased considerably compared to the test run in February, and the video is cut off when both of them hit the light wave twice, but as far as the video is seen, it seems that 3-4 maneuvers can be tried.
This device can generate various wave variations. It has not been clarified what kind of setting this video is, but I would like to look forward to the follow-up report.
