The iPhone 11 Pro's device design hasn't changed much from last year's iPhone XS.
First of all, it is the front, but we will continue to adopt the bezelless design that the screen spreads to fill the terminal. The accessories are as follows. This year's iPhone has changed the items included, and in addition to the iPhone itself, earphones (EarPods with Lightning Connector), power adapter and cable are included.
The power adapter is a USB-C power adapter that supports 18W output. Previously, it was a USB-A power adapter that supported 5W output. What is a Super Retina XDR display? According to Apple, this technology is an application of the technology used in the new display "Pro Display XDR" for the new Mac Pro. It can also be confirmed that the METAL score (graphic performance) has improved by about 36%. Apple has started offering a flat-rate game distribution service "Apple Arcade" on iOS 13, but the titles distributed by the service are generally of high quality. From the test results, it can be seen that the iPhone 11 Pro is about 35% faster than the iPhone XS Max. I also measured the iPhone 11 for reference, and found that it was the same as or slightly slower than the iPhone XS Max. It can be inferred that this is because the communication standard supported by iPhone 11 is inferior to the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone XS series.

The iPhone 11 Pro / 11 Pro Max has been announced to have a 30% increase in Face ID authentication speed. What's more, it has been improved so that it can authenticate faces even from a distance, and the angle at which the iPhone can recognize faces has expanded.
In order to verify how much it actually changed, I held the iPhone 11 Pro and the iPhone XS Max purchased last year in both hands and tried face recognition with Face ID many times.
The result is a little the same speed. Both the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone XS Max were able to unlock the screen at about the same speed. As for Face ID, the authentication speed has been improved by 30% in iOS 13, so the improvement in the authentication speed of iPhone 11 Pro is probably not due to hardware but due to software improvement.

What was disappointing
① Not compatible with bidirectional wireless charging

I was secretly expecting it because there was leak information in advance that AirPods and Apple Watch can be charged on the back of the iPhone, but when I actually opened the lid, the same function was not installed.
The Apple Watch Series 5, which was released at the same time, has a substantially worse battery life than its predecessor, so I wanted it to be able to be charged from the back of the iPhone if possible.
② 3D Touch is abolished and becomes tactile touch
Previous iPhones had a 3D Touch function that allows you to perform specific operations by pushing the screen strongly, but this time the iPhone 11 series has abolished this function and instead has a function called tactile touch. Introduced.
I hear that people who do not use 3D Touch do not use it at all, but it is also true that there were many situations where it could be used conveniently, for example, when you press the LINE app with 3D Touch, you can immediately start the QR code reader. Users who frequently use 3D Touch have also lamented the abolition.
I also frequently use the function to move the cursor position by pressing the keyboard with 3D Touch when inputting sentences with the memo application etc., so I am very sorry for the abolition of 3D Touch.
On iPhones where 3D Touch has been abolished, basically a long press will behave like 3D Touch. However, it's not as intuitive as 3D Touch, so it can be a little stressful until you get used to it.
Also, the movement of the cursor position by pressing the keyboard, which I often used, can be used by pressing and holding the space bar of the keyboard instead. Previously, I could push it anywhere on the keyboard, but it seems that I will have to use this method in the future.

Who should buy the iPhone 11 Pro? In the first place, it is no exaggeration to say that the iPhone 11 series this time is a minor update model from the iPhone XS. Although improvements have been made everywhere, it may not be necessary to replace the iPhone X or iPhone XS series.
In that sense, the main target for this replacement will be those who have iPhone 8 or earlier models.
Models before the iPhone 8 had Touch ID, so switching to Face ID is probably confusing. However, the face recognition function has also been improved, and it is now possible to authenticate users as fast as or faster than Touch ID.
