An announced by IROBOT, a small cleaning robot with a diameter of 16.5 cm

On January 3, iRobot, known for its Roomba cleaning robot, announced the Scooba 230 floor cleaning robot with a diameter of 16.5 cm. Because it is small, it can clean even narrow places such as toilets.

Scooba 230 is a type of cleaning robot that wipes the floor with water. It contains enough detergent to wash up to 150 square feet of linoleum, tile and hardwood floors in one wash.

iRobot also announced a new Roomba model, the Roomba 700 Series. This model, which is the sixth generation, has improved efficiency compared to the previous model, and has been improved by improving power management to extend battery life by 50%.

These robots will be available in the spring of 2011. Pricing has not been announced. It will be exhibited at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) held in the United States from January 6th.
