On May 26, Dyson announced the "V12 Detect Slim" and "V15 Detect" cordless vacuum cleaners that prevent missed dust by visualizing fine dust that is difficult to see with a laser. Dyson directly managed stores, Dyson official online stores, Dyson customer service offices, and each home electronics mass retailer will handle them in sequence.
The Laser Slim Fluffy cleaner head features a green laser diode that creates the optimum contrast between the floor and dust and is incorporated at a 1.5 degree angle 7.3 mm from the floor. Dyson emphasizes that this has made it possible to visualize and remove fine dust on the floor that is difficult to see.
The point of the new product is that you can check the amount and size of the sucked dust on the LCD display.
To achieve this, Dyson has newly developed the "piezo sensor." The specific mechanism is that when the dust absorbed from the cleaner head hits the piezo sensor near the air intake, the acoustic vibration of the particles is converted into an electric signal.
Particles are measured up to 15,000 times per second and the results are displayed in real time on the LCD display.
In addition, the LCD display will show notifications about suction mode, remaining operating time, when the user should clean the filter and maintenance.
Dyson also noted that one of the main complaints about vacuum cleaner maintenance is brush bristles, and announced that it has developed a new conical bristles prevention screw tool to eliminate this complaint.
Dyson explains that the sucked hair and pet hair will rotate and move from the longer to the shorter diameter of the brush bar and be sucked into the clear bin without getting entangled.
■ What is the difference between "V12 Detect Slim" and "V15 Detect"?
The differences between the "V12 Detect Slim" and the "V15 Detect" are the power switch, number of cyclones, operating time, size, etc.
The power switch of the "V12 Detect Slim" is a button type, but the power switch of the "V15 Detect" is a trigger type.
His Dyson Hyperdymium motor on board has a maximum of 125,000 rpm. Centrifugal force is up to 100,000 G. The number of cyclones is 11 for "V12 Detect Slim" and 14 for "V15 Detect". By the way, if the suction mode is set to "auto mode", the suction power of the motor will be automatically increased when it detects that the amount of dust is large. When the amount of dust to be sucked returns to the normal level, the suction power will decrease accordingly.
The direct sales price of the "V12 Detect Slim" ranges from 86,900 yen to 102,300 yen. The "Dyson V15 Detect Total Clean" (SV22 ABL) is 108,900 yen, and the direct sales limited model "Detect Absolute Extra (SV22 ABL EXT) is 113,300 yen.
