BALMUDA The Pure, an air purifier that becomes a "pillar of light" and purifies dirt in the air

BALMUDA announced the air purifier "BALMUDA The Pure" in Seoul, South Korea. It will be the successor to the air purifier "AirEngine" released in Japan in 2012. It will be pre-sold in South Korea, where AirEngine sold 10 times more than Japan, and will be released in Japan on March 14 for 52,000 yen (excluding tax).

The main body is a vertically long rectangle, sucks in air from the intake port at the bottom of the main body, and releases clean air from the top of the main body. It can clean 7,000 liters of air per minute. On top of the fan that sends out the air, we installed a rectifying blade that is also used in aircraft jet engines. It delivers clean air to the ceiling and diffuses the air throughout the room.

Balmuda, the pillar of light

We haven't forgotten the stylish design that is typical of Balmuda. The intake port at the bottom of the main unit and the flow path through which the air passes are designed to light up during air purification, and the air is purified through what Balmuda says is a "pillar of light". The brightness of the light also changes depending on the mode of air purification. As an image, how does it feel to purify the devil (dirt in the air) that nests in the darkness with the light of an angel (air purifier)?

Equipped with a "jet mode" that cleans the air in 15 minutes as a driving mode. It is recommended when you want to clean the air immediately, such as immediately after returning home.

Uses TrueHEPA filter. Capable of catching 99.7% of 0.3μm fine particles. In addition, it also has a built-in activated carbon filter for 6 soccer cords to eliminate odors in the room.

The body size is W260×H700×D260mm, and the weight is about 7.4kg. The installation area is almost A4 size. Operating noise is 19dB to 64dB, and the applicable number of tatami mats is up to 36 tatami mats. The replacement dust filter is 7,000 yen (excluding tax), the deodorizing filter is 3,000 yen (excluding tax), and the dust collecting/deodorizing filter set is 9,500 yen (excluding tax).
